GIUSEPPE MARTUCCI INTERNATIONAL PRIZE MUSIC COMPETITION

The "Amici della Musica Vittorio Cocito" Association promotes the tenth edition of the Giuseppe Martucci International Prize.

Established in 2015 with a convinced support from Maestro Folco Perrino (a passionate scholar of Martucci's human and artistic figure), aiming to spread knowledge about the great Italian musician. At the same time, the Amici della Musica Vittorio Cocito Association, being consistently sensitive to younger generations, intends to give candidates wide freedom in proposing a program that can best characterize their musical personality. In this way, they mean to foster artists' awareness of artistic knowledge, inviting competitors to fully express their abilities and preferences, proposing highly artistic pieces and even original compositions and improvisations.

The two finalists identified by the technical jury without any order ranking are indeed the winners of the competition, among whom the absolute winner will emerge as the one who manages to win public approval in the final concert.
